KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute FATs (Factory Acceptance Test) and supplier audits
- Development of metal work / steel / welding construction local supplier portfolio
- Experience in reading technical drawings and measuring components - identifying deviations
- Carry out visual examination on welded components
- Act as lesion between suppliers and HUG organization (R&D, PM) to align on technical topics
- Ensures the quality documentation is prepared by suppliers in a timely manner
- Manage Hug purchasing activities for assigned projects – main focus steel welding constructions
- Ability to negotiate purchase orders and contracts with suppliers
- Manage production slots and act as solid business partner with key stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Engineer (CWENG) or Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) expert in metal joining technologies
- Minimum 3 years of working experience purchasing in an industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Ability to work in a global environment alongside or within multicultural teams
- Positive mindset and customer focus
- Solution oriented with strong attention to detail
- High degree of independence and reliability
- Willingness to travel at least 50% nationally (driven by project needs)
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
