One of them is Bea, who has been with Hug Engineering since 2018 and plays a vital role in making sure processes run smoothly across departments.

A Job Full of Variety

When asked to describe her activities, Bea laughs:

"I do a little bit of everything - and that’s exactly what I like about my job!"

Her daily responsibilities range from checking incoming goods and completing set-up orders for apparatus construction, to distributing the internal parcel post and coordinating with different departments. But that’s just the beginning.

"There are always many little things popping up, and while they can be challenging, they also make my job exciting."

Working in a male-dominated environment has also been a journey of its own. With humor and confidence, she adds:

"Sometimes I have to fight my way through - but that’s part of the fun!"

With Hug

Her relationship with Hug Engineering started more than a decade ago. In 2014, she joined for a one-month internship that left a lasting impression. Four years later, in 2018, she officially became part of the Hug family.

This path shows how Hug invests in people long-term. Whether through apprenticeships, internships, or later career steps, the company values building connections early on and fostering lasting careers.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of Hug, Bea is just as full of energy. She loves spending time with her family, sewing her own clothing, and exploring the world by ship. And whenever there’s an opportunity to celebrate with friends, she’s the first one to say yes.

"Life is too short not to celebrate the good moments!"
